Inclement Weather Policy

Inclement weather includes, but is not limited to:
Hurricane, snow storm, ice storm, hailstorm, hazardous road conditions, severe rainstorm, flooding, The Apocalypse.
In the event that inclement weather makes travel to and from church hazardous and causes you to ask yourself the following question, “I wonder if Mass (meetings, classes, any event) will take place?” then you are instructed not to come to the church property.
Emails and voicemails asking if a Mass or event is “still on” will not be responded to. You already have your response: “Do not come to the event because of an occurrence of inclement weather.”
All are excused from attending the event and will not go to Hell for missing Mass in the event of inclement weather.
Here are our pastor’s two most important priorities for all parishioners of St. Brendan’s:
1. Safety first (including Safe Environment).
2. Present spirituality and eternal salvation.
Thank you, and God bless and PROTECT you,
Fr. Mark J. Betti
